This will solve most kinds of T1 line problems. Once you identify the problem, the best way and the most popular one to test signal problems on T1 cables is the Bit Error Rate (BER) test. After configuring each T1 line for the test, you should let it run from one minute to 240 hours. This will give an error statistics base in the T1 line.

You can also use Cisco or other loopback testing devices to isolate the problem of the T1 serial link. These can be software loopbacks or hardware plug-in loopbacks. Another way of running a BER test is to configure a remote testing tool which will transfer data simultaneously with the test pattern. Once the problem is identified using loopbacks in two different directions, they can be rectified by resetting multiplexers at either ends of the T1 line.

The integrity of the entire sports

By admin September 3rd, 2010, under Uncategorized

The integrity of the entire sports world is coming into question admist alleged reports, from nearly every mainstream sport, of athletes using performance inhancers or being closely associated with someone who was. And in case you haven’t noticed the recent “war on steroids” hasn’t really done much to deter more and more athletes from giving them a try. Quite frankly, to some athletes, the reward of startom, celebrity, money, etc., is percieved as a good trade off for both, the risk of getting caught, as well as possibly severly damaging their body. And according to most insiders, the ones who have been caught are only the tip of the iceburg, in reference to the number who are actually using them.

Looking at this as plain and simply as I can, in my opinion I don’t think there is much more that we can do with this current situation as it is for probably the next 3-5 years, it’s too far gone and the testing needs time to catch up to the cheater’s.

mBLAST Launches Free Media Tool to Help Marketers Reach the Influencers That Matter Most

Market Wire, September, 2010

mBLAST, Inc., the applications provider improving the way marketing works, is reinventing the traditional media list service with the launch of MediaSync. The free online tool helps marketers and PR professionals answer the essential questions: Who are the key Influencers in my market, what are their main areas of interest, and how do I better work with them?

MediaSync users can stay on top of relevant editorial calendars, find current and future media opportunities, and create targeted media lists comprised of the key bloggers and journalists active in any particular market or area of interest by searching the actual topics covered in their writing over the past year.

This topic-based approach to researching the media offers greater nuance and granularity compared with broadly descriptive ‘beats’ typically used with other list services. As a result, marketers can better hone in on a reporter’s main area(s) of interest — for instance, search for bloggers currently writing about ’4G LTE’ or ‘BP oil spill’ instead of vaguer terms like ‘mobile’ or ‘environment’. And in seconds, users can browse a journalist’s entire clip file to truly understand both historical and current focus. mBLAST uses a source database of over 9 million articles and blogs and is mining Terabytes daily for new topic information for their users.

MediaSync is 100% free for all users, reflecting the company’s belief that traditional list services have become commoditized in the digital age of Google and social networks.

As mBLAST CEO Gary Lee explained, “Considering a reporter’s basic contact information of email address and phone number is readily available on the Web today, we believe that charging for this data has run its course. We decided to set these media lists free and open up their use to PR agencies, brand marketers, DIY/small business owners and anyone else who wants to reach the key Influencers in their market by researching what they are actually writing about, and using that topical information to create and maintain their own media lists of key Influencers to engage with through their marketing activities.”

MediaSync offers access to over 500,000 media contacts at launch and will be increasing this number weekly. While this figure may be initially less than the databases of fee-based list services, MediaSync is designed for a new style of marketing that values true engagement with those select Influencers shaping a market, rather than the old method of blasting press releases to hundreds, or thousands, of less than relevant targets.

For immediate access to the free MediaSync service, register today at www.mediasynconline.com to begin identifying the right reporters, editors, publishers and bloggers that are following and impacting your market, and setup your own media lists to use in your marketing activities. There are no limits on searches or contact fees, and there are never hidden charges.

MediaSync is one of several applications developed by mBLAST to help marketing professionals streamline their efforts, find the information they need and get better results. For more information about MediaSync, please visit http://www.mediasynconline.com — or email us at mediasync@mblast.com .

Walk in the fresh air if possible. If you enjoy company while you are walking then join a rambling group. (Often ?rambling clubs? for the retired are more socially inclined ?ambling clubs?). Gardening combines the benefits of fresh air, exercise and the results can give you immeasurable pleasure. Dancing; particularly formation or line dancing exercises the memory also. Swimming, is a particularly good exercise for all parts of the body with the added advantage that the water is supporting you and therefore there is no weight on the joints.

4. Feed your body with the correct foods.

A SCOT serving in southern Afghanistan tells us about a Nato official who was keen to hear from ordinary Afghans how their lives had improved since the Taliban had been pushed out.

He asked a carpenter in the bazaar if business was good, and was surprised when the chap said no.

“Oh,” replied the Nato official, “I thought it would have been great. We’ve been knocking down lots of doors recently.”

A LENZIE grandparent was reading a Famous Five novel to his granddaughter in which one of the five had to signal from an island using a mirror.

He shook his head as the little one asked: “Why didn’t he use a mobile phone?”

“A JEHOVAH’S Witness tried to tell me a joke the other day,” said the chap in the pub.

“But when he said, ‘Knock knock’, I ducked down behind the sofa and pretended I wasn’t there.”

READER Tom Dowds tells us: “The Herald reports that walking will improve health and reduce obesity, yet in the same edition it says Glasgow Council wants to ban walks. Surely a conflict of opinion here.”

A SOUTH-SIDE reader overhears two schoolboys having an earnest discussion about violence. One of them finally piped-up: “I don’t think I could ever stab someone

As the result, the processes of Reformation had started in different countries.

However, in spite of some similarities mentioned above, all of them had their own particular features that made them different from each other.

First of all, it should be said that some of them were Catholic as the Catholic Reformation in Spain and Italy, while others were Protestant. It means that the Catholic Reformation basically supported main principles and ideas of the Roman Catholic philosophy, organization, theology, etc. Whereas Protestants did not support it and on the contrary tend to create their own equivalents, for instance the English Reformation led to the creation of Anglican Church that was absolutely independent from Rome and was actually ruled by King or Queen of England. So, in Spain Queen Isabel brought the church under the crown?s control more than ever before but formally it was still under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Church. While, in England Henry VIII became a head of the Anglican Church that was absolutely independent, even formally from Rome.

Furthermore, each Reformations had their own pragmatic goals.

This is called ?notice?. If the owner didn?t know about a dangerous condition, how can he be held responsible for your injuries? He won?t be. But, what if the icy condition existed for a few days or weeks? Everybody who lived nearby always saw the ice and nobody ever salted or sanded the ice. In that situation we would argue that the owner of the property knew, or should have known, that there was a dangerous and icy condition on his property.

What if someone actually tells the owner of the property about an icy area of his lot and he doesn?t do anything to fix the problem? Well, as long as nobody gets hurt, he?s avoided a lawsuit. However, if someone does get injured at that location, after someone has specifically notified him of a dangerous condition, and he fails to correct the danger, then in all probability he will be held responsible for failing to prevent injuries at that location.

Sometimes, the owner hires a snow removal company (a snow plow) to plow the driveway, street, sidewalk or parking lot.

Paedophile sent rude messages

0 Comments | Northern Echo, Sep 2, 2010 | by Neil Hunter

AN internet pervert is facing a possible prison sentence for sending vulgar messages to girls encouraging them to touch themselves.

Last night, the mother of one of 64-year-old David Cuthbert’s victims called on parents to be vigilant about their children’s online activities.

The shocked mother said: “I was suspicious because she would close her lap-top whenever I entered the room – but I didn’t expect it was this.

“When I got a friend to log on and look at what she had been doing, I was disgusted to read his messages. They were sickening, atrocious.”

The mother, from the east Midlands, contacted her local police, and Cuthbert was traced to his home in Darlington through his computer.

Cuthbert admitted two charges of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.

During yesterday’s hearing, it also emerged that the parents of a girl in Scotland have also made a complaint which is being investigated.

Cuthbert’s barrister, Dan Cordey, told the court that he made admissions in interview, and the charge or charges are likely to be accepted.

“Clearly, I cannot say for certain, but it is likely on the day of sentencing there will be a schedule of at least one other offence, ” he said.

“In this particular case, the charge is causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was on one end of a keyboard, and she the other.

“He sent her sexually explicit instructions. There was no contact between them, save for over the internet, and this took place on two occasions.”

Cuthbert, of Lytham Road, Darlington, was released on bail until he is sentenced following the preparation of reports next month.

Judge George Moorhouse told the grey-haired pervert: “The mere fact that I am asking for a report must not give you any false hope.”

The mother from the Midlands said Cuthbert had also tried to encourage her 14-year-old daughter, who has special needs, to go on a web camera.

She said she has been told by police that expert analysis of her computer shows the teenager did not agree to the online request in early 2008.

If you’re staying just under a week, you may want to pay this rate and return the car early.

7. Avoid purchasing insurance from the car rental company if possible. Many credit cards cover car rental insurance; in the event of collision or theft you’ll be taken care of. Check your credit card agreement ahead of time.

8. Save the extra driver cost by choosing a designated driver. Some car rental agencies charge more to add a driver.

9. Look for car rental coupons in travel magazines or an Entertainment book. Agencies also give discounts to AAA and AARP members. Be sure to inquire about available deals.

Keeping these factors in mind before your car rental, you can save a substantial amount of money. Shop wisely, and know before you go!
